hello (: ahh i spent all day on this haha... there WAS meant to be a temple in the background and Ruki walking away from it on a path... but it was difficult .______. the background this a combination of this and this. The smoke i made using this tutorial. Purple seemed like a good choice (:

hmm.. Ruki [of the GazettE] was drawn in pencil... then scanned, linearted with a tablet and then coloured, etc with the tablet...

i'm sorry i still pretty much fail at hair and shaing but i hope you all enjoy?


[i realise the blossoms look really stupid... i copied and pasted chunks of them because i got lazy D: i'm not yet talented...;_____;]




ehh i stupidly accidentally favourited this -______- ahh this dragging thing really annoys me! how do i undo it...

Ruki's looking pretty cool with his purple smoke. ^^
I like the composition as well as Ruki and his yukata... expecially how it exposes his collar bone. o.o *cough hmm please don't mind me... hehe

oo purple smoke, I like it. So many cherry blossoms, I couldn't really tell you copied sections and pasted them, although I can imagine the pain to draw every single one. You did good. ^^

You're improving like how a bird learns how to fly... <-- this is me trying to be clever with words... (facepalm)

Keep up the efforts, I look forward to more awesomeness. ; )

this picture would not have been completed without looking up various tutorials... and without styles.. styles are my best photoshop friend now haha...

haha if you look closely you can see bits of cherry blossoms which are only half a blossom :x

I love the feeling of following the tutorial and getting great results, however most of the time it turns out crap. >.<
Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating and borrowing people's styles... but one must learn and experience before doing one's own thing? Since everyone has different colouring styles etc.

I still haven't found out how to do that styles thing... I shall conquer it someday. o.o

Ahh I see those funky cherry blossoms, well it looks cooler that way... um you meant it to be like that*wink wink nudge nudge Plus it's not that noticeble. : D

yeh i always feel like i'm cheating! but i agree, i guess it's an okay way to develop one's own style
